why should i get an ipad?

I am currently a student and also interested in buying an iPad but what makes them worth a couple of hundred pounds? i currently have an iPod Touch, but what can the iPad do that my iPod can't

I am a high school student and I have used my iPad to do all my school work. Many people do not know this but you can get many computer programs on an iPad. Her is list of apps that can turn an iPad into a Mac like tablet.

Ipad has Bigger screen. (would you rather watch tv on a 15 inch or a 50 inch tv)

I can do my schoolwork on my iPad but not on a iPod.

The iPad has a mute/lock switch while the iPod doesn't.
The iPad has a louder speaker than the iPod speaker.

I am a college student and am looking to get a projector for my room. The room is about ten feet wide and what we would use it for is to hook it up to a laptop to watch movies and to run cable to it. What would you suggest I get that is reasonably priced?

I think with projectors if you can spend a bit more $ you tend to get a few more features. I like the FAVI mini projector myself, it's around $200 and the reviews are generally positive on Amazon. Actually the best way to find the 'right" projector is perhaps to go to Amazon and search for laptop projectors - and read the reviews. Find out what people are saying, for example, does it run quiet, stay cool or overheat, plugin to your laptop or iPad, project well even with some light in the room, etc.
