I am looking for a budget projector, I am going to be hooking it up to my desktop computer and playing games, watching movies, etc. I already have a set of speakers, so sound isn't a problem. I am looking for video quality here. My budget is about $250, but I can bend a little in either direction. Thank you.
Answer
Save your money till you have at least $2500 to spend the cheap projectors produce a poor image. Not to mention you need a good screen (which is not cheap) to get a good image.

Which projector should be best for the budget?

My budget is around Rs. 4000-5000. The thing is that projection size is not of much consideration as my rooms are very small and around 50'' - 60'' projection with decent picture quality would be enough(no need of those expensive 100''-200'' projectors).Any customizable projector would be also great in this regard and Led is my preference as I believe LED s are not that power consumers and doesn't turn very hot overtime.
Using for: Mainly game-play from PC,Watching movies,Pictures etc.
Rough use and home entertainment use.
Answer
If your looking for a 50 or 60 inch screen just go with a direct view high definition 1080p Television, its going to give you a better picture than any projection system, will be much less costly, and lighting will be less of an issue. A good projection system is not cheap and requires a good screen, all the cheap projectors do not provide a good image and are a waste of money. If you have $3500 US dollars to spend then maybe its worth it, but at that point it still only makes sense if you want a larger screen.
