What projector will give the most bang for the buck?

Amit T

Ya know, 1080p only, contrast a minimum of 20,000:1, lumens at least 17-1800. And not too pricey, I won't care how much bang for the buck I get with a $10,000 projector...I'm not telling my dad to spend 10k lol. But preferably in the $1,000-$1,500 range.

Thanks,
Amit

Answer
There are two new 1080p projectors under $1000 from Vivitek and Optoma, the Vivitek seems to have slightly better specs.

Visual Apex has bundles with a screen and mount for under $1300. Definitely the best bang you'll find at that buck level.

If you want to spend a bit more, the Epson 8100 is very good.

For a truly excellent projector, the Panasonic PT-AE4000U is amazing (got mine a month ago from Visual Apex).

Have fun.

Is the camera with the projector really worth 450 bucks?

?? couse my dad said i can get it if i dont get the new laptop

Answer
If I were you I would go with laptop instead of camera with the projector or if you want to get camera, for that price you can get good camera with good features for taking good pictures.
