Well if your talking about color, i'd say 6000k at most. I dunno what size it is, you'll have to look at whatever bulbs you got in there. However, i have heard that the aftermarket projectors don't take well to HID's (they are designed for halogen) and it causes a lot of weird light output and still a lot of glare. So that's up to you if you wanna go HID anyways. Can't guarantee you it won't damage your projectors in anyway though because they are designed for halogens still.

my question is that if i buy these aftermarket headlights which are Halo Projecter headlights, i have no idea what that is, do i just take off the headlights and put te new ones in? and do i have to get certain types of lightbulbs.
Thanks in advance!

I had those style headlights in my EG Civic & plan to put them in my EK Civic (when I get one). They are called halo projector headlights because of the ring which resembles a halo (from an angel) (reason why they are also called angel headlights) & projector based on the make up of the headlights which project the headlight beam.
Yes you just take off your stock headlights & replace them with those. As far as the bulbs it may depend on what they say. If anything I'd recommend SilverStar Ultras (H4) which is what 96 Civics should take.
