I am looking to buy a projector to hook up to my MacBook to paint murals on the wall. It doesn't have to be anything NEARLY fancy. It has to project basic shapes and faces from photos. I am looking online and finding very pricey stuff. I know nothing of the field of projectors. I want to be able to adjust the size of the pictures projected from small to very large. Any help?
I was thinking around 50$ for a used one or some such area of price. Is that unrealistic? Any shopping sleuths out there up for the challenge? :)
Thank you in advance for your thoughtful answers!! :)

You may be able to find an old slide projector used to show 35mm transparencies, forget trying to link it to your mac simply print down sized art work onto thin paper or transparent film then project on to your wall and trace the out line, OK for lettering and simple art designs with faces you may have to adopt a more artistic approach. try E Bay for your projector good luck

I would suggest the Epson MovieMate 60 Portable Projector. You can see it and find out more about it at http://amzn.to/n8FYfT. It's compatible with your Macbook, but you'll need an adapter from the video port on your Macbook to the projector. The projector can use both VGA and HDMI, so you could get either a standard VGA adapter or a HDMI adapter. I think it would be great for doing the kinds of things you mention.
I hope that helps! Good luck!
