What projector should i get?

Q. I am making a home theater!
I need a projector that will be 15.52 feet away from the screen.
The screen is 8.3 feet tall and 8.11 feet wide.
I want to be able to plug a hdmi wire into it from a dvd player.
I am looking for the most bang for my buck!
1080p is what i want but im willing to go down to 720p.

I just finished my 'man cave'. I used Epson Powerlite home cinema 8350 projector. i cannot recommend it enough. For the money, I think it is one of the best out there. It is a little larger than some of the others but it is quite and has plenty of mounting options. it should run less than $1200.

Im looking to buy a new projector....... suggestions?

-1080p
-3D not necessary
-have hdmi ports (to plug my ps3 into it)

its gonna be for home entertainment and it will be mounted in my basement. preferably under 500$

I have the Epson 8350 Home Cinema, meets all your requirements except for price. You may have a hard time finding a 1080p projector for that price that has a decent number of lumens. I would stay above 2000.
