It's a DLP projector with a color wheel speed of 2X which unfortunately does not prevent viewing "rainbow" images; even in games. I'd pass on this projector and go for at least a 4X speed color projector. Check out a refurbished Infocus SP4805 4X projector at amazon.com which sells for around $570. Here's the URL:

what is a good projector for an xbox 360 elite thats has hdmi? around $600-700?

there is not a projector that is going to be good with any game system for $700 because of the lag that comes with the HD and the projector it self. If your just looking for one to play films on any one will do but if you wanna play games you may want to rethink why. I have a $2,500 200in HD projector its great for films and i play random party games but if i wanna play Tekken or anything that requires reaction time which is most games i play on the classic tube tv and you don't wanna drop $700 bucks then realize you cant play on it but as far as i know there is not a good projector for $700 i have only been able to find them for around 1,000
