3D projector with Nvidia 3d vision GPU?

Hello, I do have a 3D Vision ready system ( Emitter + glasses ), and have invested in many 3d vision 2 glasses.
Now I'm planning to get a 3D projector to be able to watch movies with the family connecting the projector to my GTX 670, which is a 3D vision ready card.

My Questions is, will I be able to use this projector[1] to watch movies using my PC GPU?

Several projectors are being sold that are compatible with NVIDIA 3D Vision: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html . NVIDIA 3D Vision is a PC based viewing system, a PC is required to deliver the 3D video to a 3D TV or projector.

If you buy a projector that is compatible with NVIDIA 3D Vision, that doesn't guarantee that it will also accept 3D video from a stand-alone Blu-ray player, such as the PS3. Many of those projectors might only be able to accept 3D video from a PC with an NVIDIA 3D graphic card installed.

So you might want to wait until a website has tested a 3D projector with a 3D Blu-ray player, to make sure that it isn't an "NVIDIA only" 3D projector.

You need a high frequency display (120 Hz). See the link for requirements. The NEC NP 300 isn't on the list and I doubt it will work well.

Guys,

I've bought a couple of things but there is a couple of problems which is happening to me

- Nvidia 3D Graphic Card
- Samsung 3D TV 8 Series
- 3D Vision from Nvidia

I've got a problem when my computer starts the stereoscopic wizzard where my 3d Tv can't be detected by my PC and the Samsung doesnt have an IR immiter to place it from the device

please someone help me it's been 2 days and i can't find an answer

The Samsung TV does not support nVidia's 3D Vision. Only a few computer monitors support it, because they need to run at a 120Hz refresh rate. Many HDTVs run at 120Hz but the only ones currently on the market that support 3D Vision are from Mitsubishi. Here's a list of computer monitors, Mistubishi TVs and HD projectors that support 3D Vision, from nVidia's web site:

Sorry, but you'll have to return that TV and buy one of the supported displays to get 3D Vision to work.

Questions hooking up Nvidia 3D Vision to H5360 Projector?

I am purchasing a new Acer H5360 Projector which is fully compatible with Nvidia 3D Vision, I've had Nvidia 3D Vision for quite awhile now with my Viewsonic 22" LCD 3D Ready Monitor, when I purchased the kit I lost the VESA cable. I am looking for instructions on how to setup that projector specifically, because I've read that you do not need the VESA cable for it, I was curious on what you need.

With a DLP 3D projector, you do not need the VESA sync cable or IR transmitter. Instead, an invisible pulse of light is sent through the projector lens to sync the glasses (i.e. no additional hardware is necessary).

Note: You can still use the Nvidia 3D Vision set-up with the projector, it's just unnecessarily complicated and you would need to get a new VESA sync cable.

You would also need a device capable of playing back 3D video, such as a PC with an NVIDIA 3D capable graphics card. 3D Blu-ray players haven't been released as of this posting, and when they are released in 2010 they still may not be compatible with the projectors listed on those pages.
