Baby boy nursery decoration?

Im having a boy and want to do handmade decoration or anything I can do by myself (i dont know if im explaning myself clearly) but If you know any websites that I can get any ideas from or if you have any please let me know.

oh gosh...the ideas are endless!!! But I would recommend keeping it simple for as the child grows it will be easier to transform. Painted walls with perhaps a few decals. Pychologists recommend bright colors but not overwhelming. A circus theme , sports theme, underwater sea adventure. Maybe even a mural on the wall. (simply rent a projector from the nearest library, find pictures you like in books or posters, and project them onto the walls and then stencil it and paint it in.
Look for "Surprise By Design" with the Michael verdi and Rebecca Cole. They always had wonderful ideas for every area, inside and out. It used to be a design show on TV..and they created things under a specific budget. they were great. But the possibilities are endless!!!! start here...copy and paste it in the brower because it cuts off...

motion lamps?

I am looking for a motion lamp that I have seen in about 10 movies. They are always in kids rooms and the project images onto the walls, etc. I can't seem to find them. They are boxed shaped and have had airplanes, shapes, animals, etc images usually used as a night light on a night stand. I am in need of one for my son. I have seen them in Flight Plan, When a Stranger Calls the new one and a few other movies! Help! thank you.

What is the name of this?

I dont have a picture because I dont even know how to type it into a search engine... anyway... It goes in your babies room and you turn it on when they go to sleep and it casts shadows and shapes onto their walls. I have tried "mobile with lights" which apparently is not what it is. Any idea on what the name of this thing is?

I want to decorate the baby's nursery with pictures of animals?

I found on the internet this really cute barn animals made of wood (cow horse chicken) that one can glue to the wall. The problem is that they cost a fortune ($799 for the whole set). It is ridiculous .
Neither of us are any good with drawing so I wonder if there are any large stickers that I can use instead.
WHere can I find something like that? Or any other idea?

There are a variety of options available to you.

First, see if you can buy or borrow a projector. I bought an old fashioned one from a school surplus sale for $10, but would love a digital. You may be able to rent one. Using the projector, you can project images onto the wall and stencil them in, and then paint. If you do not want to do this directly onto the wall, purchase some blank canvas and do it on there and then hang them.

Alternatively, you could hire someone to do a mural. One of the churches we are associated with has a wonderful artist that does the most amazing murals-the VBS there is always so surreal.

I am certain you can purchase wooden shapes for a lot less than $800. Visit your local arts and crafts store. A neat idea would be to have a lot of family members decorate one for the baby's nursery, and sign their name on the back. Not only would it be helpful and fun, but a neat keepsake.

You could use stuffed animals instead, but did you know stuffed animals can multiply? LOL

And, yes-you probably can find wall stickers. Check Lowe's, Home Depot, Babies R Us, Wal Mart, etc...and the internet if you have no luck at those places. eBay will have some. How large you can find them, I do not know.

I canât seem to find something similar, I just donât know if that is a painting, wallpaper or some kind of wall sticker that self adheres to the wall. Anyway, does anyone know what it is and where can I buy it?

This might be a one of those wall mural sticker kits. They usually run about $200 for something this size and can probably be found by doing some online searching.

Another option, you could get a projector and trace and paint this image yourself. I have a friend who did this for her nursery, and it turned out great!

Okay, I am having a little boy and I bought a dark brown crib and the colors we are doing is green and yellow and I need help finding images that are cute for a little boy that deals with monkeys, ducks playing soccer?? lol Husband plays soccer??

I would do murals on the wall. You could either do the murals yourself (you could use a projector or stencils), hire someone, use mural stickers or locate mural wallpaper.

I would do a nature them- perhaps with one wall being the jungle (monkeys and other animals), one being the pond (ducks and other animals).

I would leave two walls mural free, and perhaps hang some soccer related framed prints or other soccer related things on those walls. Then you could toss in a soccer ball shaped rug (perhaps on green carpet?), maybe some pillows, etc.
