the Kodak projector is about as good as it gets, and that is not all that good, but Kodak projection lenses are made of plastic and are not any good. If you want good lenses, look on ebay and see if you can find some Schneider slide projection lenses.

im doing a project on an old projector and I happen to have this one....but I cant figure out when it was invented ...im guessing the late 70s' , but im not sure exactly.

need to get the correct projector for an upcoming 50th wedding anniversary for parents' wedding slides. they were taken in 1957. please help. all i have is the individual viewer, and need a projector for the party.
where can i find it, or rent one?

You could look on eBay. There is a stereo projector on there now (expiring July 2) with a current bid of $26 (US). I don't know if this "Vivid 3D" projector will handle the Kodak slides you have.

You would also need polarized viewing glasses for each person, for which you could expect to pay between $1.25 and $10 depending on what quality you want. You can use Google to find a source.

I suspect that your idea may not be feasible, but perhaps you have the budget and the time to pursue it.

Edit ... I forgot that for best results, you would need to use a special (often "silver") projection screen. Regular screens are likely to scatter the reflected light and spoil the 3D effect. And when shopping for glasses, avoid the ones with circular polarization: look for "linear".

I have had a bunch of each, and they all seem to fit one another. The only exception is that Kodak made a small projector for the 110 size film, and it is too small to take the standard Carousels.

I am having a problem with my slide projector?

I have a Kodak carousel 4200 slide projector. Have not used it for about 5 years. Used it last month and the bulb blew so I bought 2 replacements online. Used them last night and both blew. Any suggestions what is going on?

You probably got the wrong bulbs. Your projector uses an 82 volt FHS bulb. If you did get the right bulbs, your projector may have a problem.
