Macbook Pro to a projector: vga or dvi adapter?

Q. For my health presentation,we're using my macbook pro (has mini display port) using keynote (not powerpoint).I want to connect it to the projector. But I don't know if I should buy a vga adapter or dvi one.Please help me!And where do I get them?

It depends on the projectorâwhat type of input does it use? You want to get the cable to match.

Most of the projectors I've run across have taken VGA, so the chances are good that would work. But there's no guarantee that any given type of cable will work unless you know what you're hooking it up to.

As to where to buy them? They're available from a number of sources (Apple stores, electronics stores, etc.). I've put links below to the page for each type of cable on Amazon.

Now since I do not know what the Windows button is registered under for the Mac keyboard I am going to give you an alternative which is to go to the start menu and search up "Connect to a Projector" and it should pop up, it gives you 4 alternatives, the first one being automatically chosen, duplication means that the projector will basically show the same screen you see, extension means the projector will act like a secondary monitor, and the final one will make the projector the main screen.

In 1877 Charles Emile Reynaud invented the Praxinoscope, a mirrored drum that gives the illusion of movement using strips of pictures.

In 1881 William Kennedy Laurie Dickson designed the Kinetoscope, a kind of movie projector and ran a trial of a movie called 'Monkeyshines'.

A year after Thomas Edison's invention of the Kinetoscope the Holland Brothers opened the first Kinetoscope Parlor in New York. This was the first commercial exhibition of movies.

In 1895 Louis and Auguste Lumiere patented Cinematographe, a device that could project movies to several spectators at the same time. December 28 1895 they presented the first commercial display of a movie to an audience, running 20 minutes, consisting of 10 short stories.

'The Great Train Robbery' (1903) is considered to be the first real full length movie, the first narrative Western film with a storyline, and the first real smash hit.

slide carousel gaf anscorama 940 (slide projector)?

Any recomendations of how I can obtain the carousel for this product. Eveything else is very clean. I can load slides one at a time but it's getting old. (no pun intended).

Looked on e-bay craigs list and well found tons of replacement bulbs but no carousel.

Any insight would help.

There were only a few types of "rotary" slide trays ever made the "Carousel" was a trademark and patented design of Kodak and, for the most part, was only manufactured for Kodak projectors. I believe there were a few knockoff models made by other companies but they were not generally successful.

The second most common was/is a "Sawyer" tray that works like a "Ferris Wheel" in a vertical configuration, this was the most commonly used tray for non-Kodak projectors and most GAF and Anscorama used this type of tray.

Try finding a used "Sawyer" style tray at a camera specialty store and try it in your machine or Google "Sawyer slide tray".

Note, one other rotary tray was fairly common, it was called "Airequipt". As far as I know this would fit Airequipt projectors ONLY and WILL NOT WORK on GAF projectors.
